Celtic MultiPad 001
« on: November 05, 2016, 05:46:19 PM »

Here is Celtic MultiPad 001, which I have extracted from different packages.
This is a Universal MultiPad for Celtic and related genres.

I have adjusted the volume so that they fit together.
I've made versions for multiple models, but only that for S950 is 100% guaranteed adjusted.

NOTE:
OTS Link must be turned off for MultiPads to remain active when changing Main or Style.
I assume that the individual knows how MultiPads should be "installed".

Your comments are invaluable for us in the administration, and for me in particular.

This can not be said often enough:
My and others' work relies on feedback from members - more feedback equals better material, because this is a kind of quality control.

I want to say this to all members, old and new, experienced and beginners;
I think maybe not everybody have a lot time to testing a lot, but I'm sure those who download it soon will have a picture of it, if they like it or not, if it is useable or not, etc.

I have heard some of the new MultiPads on Chello's own PSR S950 and they sounds really fantastic.
Too bad, my PSR S550 are not able to play Pads, so I'm just observing this from the sideline, and enjoying this new opportunity for our members.

Don't be afraid to come with a comment, it's always nice when somebody say something about a style, or anything, it don't have to be the big thing, even the smallest thing can be of interest and can result in a better style or pad for you and all of us. The more members that say something about how it works for them, the better this forum will be, you are all valuable members of our forum. icon_salut.gif
You all have the possibility to make an influence, if you want. Thank you :)

Hi Chello
I am a recent member and thanks for accepting my registration. I presently own a Yamaha Tyros 5 and very amazed at the depth of resources and new files available on this fine forum.

I just tried out your Celtic Multipad bank on my Tyros 5. Excellent selection of voices and Celtic patterns from SteelGuitar, Fiddle, and PanFlute. Volume balances are perfect and awesome just as it is. As with all my styles and Multipads, I always optimize them to my settings and registrations.

If any Tyros 5 user has the Celtic_T5 Expansion Pack, then some nice voice substitutions can be made to this great Celtic Multipad. For pads 1 and 2, (Live)SteelAcoustic substitution in Multipad Creator for the "SteelGuitar" voice adds even more realism to the Multipad. Going into the Celtic_T5 Expansion Pack and substituting (MegaVoice)CelticFiddleM for the "Fiddle" voice is about as authentic sounding you can get with pad 3. Changing pad 4, PanFlute, to the (MegaVoice)HighWhistleM from the same expansion pack makes for a nice optional voice to the original pan flute. I tried accessing my SA2 Pan Flute, but not available. My guess is you cannot substitute Tyros 5 SA2 voices in Multipad Creator.

To add yet another level of realism to voices, Styles, and Multipads on the Tyros 5, I always make my saves with the RealReverb DSP effect with settings that match the ambiance of the environment for that particular song or performance/recording.

When linking a Multipad to a suitable style, like this Celtic Multipad, all the patterns and volumes synchronize nicely. Just to note when customizing your OTS voice settings for a style, you can link this Celtic Multipad to the OTS memory saves, so actually in this case you can have the OTS link button "on", because the Multipad is now linked to the style save or registration.

Not much into the Dance, Trance or Techno Pads, but have them saved for future reference or further use if needed. Very much appreciate these Multipads and look forward exploring your other resources on this forum, especially delving into your MIDI to Style conversions. Love your selection of Smilies.  foxes_352.gif

Regards, Marcum
Tyros 5

It is very nice to get such a thorough and accurate feedback.
This makes my work much easier, and verify my vision of how MultiPads should be created.
In addition you tell how these easily can be improved on a Tyros5 - very good! welldone.gif

Besides, you are interested in my articles about MIDI to Style.
I hope you through these will be able to create your own styles one day - I can help you along the way, if you want.
And thank you for that you enjoy the selection of Smilies!

I (and surely everyone else) are very pleased to have you with us.
